The Ribeira Verde building intends to introduce a strong bound between construction and nature in the heart of the city of Guimarães. Natural and organic elements such as water, trees, and other vegetation, stand out in the proposed design, increasing the oxygen levels and biodiversity of the site. The valorization of the existing water stream (couros), connecting the medieval city with the main green park of the city, was essential in the development of this sustainable building.
